African black soap (Ose Dudu, Alata Samina or Anago Samina) originated with the Yoruba communities in Nigeria, Togo & Benin. This soap is traditionally made by woman in villages along West Africa.
Real African Black Soap is not actually black. It's more the color of the organic plant ashes used in the cooking process. |
